教學助理評量 TA Evaluation
To enhance the teaching quality of TAs, better understand the TA ecosystem at NTHU, and ultimately establish a comprehensive TA system, the Center has implemented a Teaching Assistant Evaluation Program. The execution of this program serves as a valuable reference for building a robust TA system and for future university-wide TA evaluations.
The TA Evaluation Program adopts a five-point Likert scale and consists of two types of questionnaires:
-
Student Evaluation Questionnaire
-
Faculty Evaluation Questionnaire
These questionnaires are distributed to students and course instructors, respectively, to evaluate the TA’s performance during the semester. At the end of each semester, outstanding TAs are selected based on the combined results of the questionnaires, TA work records, and review interviews. Awarded TAs are publicly recognized by the Center and receive both a certificate and a prize of NT$5,000 (or equivalent gift vouchers).
[Self-Registration]
Any TA serving during the semester may voluntarily register to participate in the evaluation program.
[Mandatory Evaluation Courses]
Starting from the 105th Academic Year, all TAs of required freshman core courses and general education courses must participate in this evaluation program.
