(Checklist Rubric

Facing the transformations brought by generative AI, teachers no longer need to face challenges alone.
As AI technologies become increasingly mature, higher education is undergoing a paradigm shift in teaching and learning.

Dr. Tonny Menglun Kuo from NTHU’s Center for Teaching and Learning Development will draw on insights from Harvard Business School’s Teaching with AI workshop and his own teaching practice to share ten empirically proven AI teaching strategies, guiding instructors to explore how AI can assist in curriculum design, classroom interaction, and learning assessment.

🔎 Key Takeaways Include:
• Utilizing NotebookLM to create multimodal learning materials
• Building a GPT Bot to enhance student preparation and review
• Generating diverse learning examples and assessment questions
• Designing multi-perspective case discussions
• Using visualization tools to interpret abstract concepts
• Transforming research into contextualized learning cases
• Curating multimedia course resources
• Developing clear evaluation rubrics and checklists
• Establishing AI teaching assistants for instant feedback
• Supporting data analysis and programming practice

This workshop encourages participants to reflect on how to leverage technological capabilities while preserving the humanistic values of education.
It aims to help teachers evolve from tool users to co-designers of learning experiences with AI — enhancing course quality and cultivating higher-order thinking among students.
